Comparrrrrrrrrrrison shopping

My parents pored over the newspaper ads this weekend, looking for the best deal on the Pirates of the Caribbean DVD. Some people would consider the "best deal" to be the lowest price. But that would really not be enough for my family. We have elected to purchase our wares from our local Media Play store, because they are giving away free pirate flags with every copy.

Sometimes I worry that the dorkiness running through my veins is so thick I'm going to get blood clots and have a nerdeurysm.

Was I supposed to get the pirate flag? Oops! I went to Circuit City because it was closer and cheaper. So maybe you don't have to worry quite so much about the nerdeurysm so much right now. Daddy will be disappointed about not getting the flag, though. Arrrrrrg!

Except, in order to get the "a" pronounced as in 'comparison', this particular pirate would have to be from Ireland.

Email from my mommy: Please don't cry for the pirate flag. Media Play opened at 6:00. There was no way I could get the flag. There were probably lines. I'm allergic to pirate material. So many reasons not to drive to Media Play.

cripe. i live in a city where they've never even heard of media play. i'm going to have to go to the tower records to get my copy of pirates. and i know they won't have any pirate flags for me. pout.
