Pedometerphile
Apete gave me a pedometer for my birthday. It is just like his, so rather than saying "How many steps have you taken so far? Is that a lot? How many did you do yesterday? I wonder how many I did. Do you think I did a lot?" I can track my own steps. So far, the best way I've found to keep track of my steps is with Steptracker. That way I can keep track of how many steps I did, and I can make a "comments" field to try to record my activities during the day and see how that corresponds to the number of steps. There are also RSS feeds, so I can subscribe to friends' feeds and follow how much more they walked than I did. So if any of you out there are tracking your steps, join in and let me know where your feed is! And please give your track a name that includes your name/web pseudonym/other identifier so I don't have to guess whose steps I'm looking at!
(Noor, you may be beating me overall, but I beat you on Monday!)

I'm doing the pedometer thing too - using Walker Tracker http://www.walkertracker.com to keep a log. I hit the million step mark last week! woo hoo.
Happy Belated Birthday! I'm a bad friend! I want a pedometer.
