Fat free since 1949! Because before that, they were pure lard!
I went for years without a Junior Mint and never missed them. Then Katie started talking about them* this summer and I went out and tried them again. Now they're my comfort food and I now crave them whenever I'm having a bad day or I'm stressed or torn or confused or feel like crying.
I feel just fine today. My worries of the weekend are mostly behind me and my stress of the week is ahead of me. And yet I had to have Junior Mints. I think this may be a sign of addiction.
I took a break and ran down to the Union bookstore, my usual Junior Mints supplier. But there were no Junior Mints to be had. I had to settle for York Bites, which is like taking Nyquil when you really want crack cocaine. York Bites have a completely different texture and are too minty. They suck and have in no way appeased my ravenous desire.
* and their user-unfriendly packaging...

Ahem. Yes, I too remember something about this. And I thought I had blogged at some point about the packaging. AND I have noticed the fat-free thing and wondered... And I needed a fix yesterday at lunchtime. And now I want more.
Have you had the opporunity to compare Nyquil and crack?
