Coming... home?

It's Homecoming Weekend in Albion. Construction seemed light on I-94 and I got off at Jackson (and somehow ended up back on after Jackson, but that's due to my fantastic navigational skills) so I made the one-hour drive in under two hours. It was okay, because sitting still on the freeway gave me a chance to change CDs so that I could sing at the top of my lungs along with both Fiddler on the Roof and The Neil.

I'm staying with the sister and using her shower products because it's easier than trucking my own around. Who came up with lubricated razors? I feel like my armpit is coated in snot. I think, though, that Albion water has improved. Rather than the rotten-egg smell that was so noticeable my freshman year, now I just smell like wet dog.

Albion water has improved. Now it's clear, tastes relatively normal and has no real strong smell, whereas when you were a sophomore, it smelled like rotten eggs, was yellow or brown and tasted like crap.

How charming! Kind of defeats the purpose of showering, though, if end up smelling worse than when you were simply dirty. Perhaps you could hook up a shower suppied by Evian bottles.

Ohhh, don't mention rotten egg smell to me, I might start gagging again. Someone broke open some eggs this weekend at church. They were not fit for... well for anything!
