Seeing Things
Today's post titles all begin with letters down at the bottom of the alphabet. I am such a nerd for noticing that.
I'm wearing my contacts today for the second day in a row. Before yesterday, I hadn't worn them for over a month because one of the side-effects of Alesse is the very vague possible difficulty wearing contact lenses. What does difficulty mean? That they will roll back into your head and give you a blood clot in your brain? That your eyes will dry up and you won't be able to get them out? I was scared but I finally bit the bullet and tried and I haven't died so far.
My vision is worse that that of most people I know. I think they are amazed that such a tiny person can carry a load like my thick glasses around on her face all day. When I don't wear them, I can generally read things by putting my face directly on them and can make out the shapes of things more than a foot away. I don't know if glasses and contact prescriptions are the same, but my left contact prescription is 4.50 and my right is 5.50.
How is your vision?
