Now on the sidewalk - ooh, sunny morning, uh huh - lies a body, just oozin' life
Question: Would it kill somebody to shovel the sidewalks in this godforsaken town?
Follow-up question: If so, who would that "somebody" be?
Can we just take a moment to consider whether his/her life is as valuable as me not slipping on the sidewalk and having warm, dry feet¹? I am thinking that - unless the "somebody" is me - my feet are probably going to win out. Ready the torches and pitchforks, everyone!
¹ I forgot to put on my boots when I went to class today².
