WOOOOOO BEER!
My local evening news program has informed me that instead of the usual rioting and car-flipping, OSU fans have been celebrating by carrying around chunks of dirt.
Ain't no party like a Columbus party.

They were talking to a guy about what he was going to do with his clump of turf and you could tell that he hadn't really thought about it. Seems to me that once it dries out enough it will all crumble apart anyway.
I thought it was stupid when people were BUYING pieces of old turf from Michigan Stadium, but at least that was artificial turf that had been cut into coaster-sized pieces so it could be used as, say, a coaster.

If they were smart, like us UMich grads :), they would plant their turf.
I have so many questions. How long can you realistically keep souvenir dirt? Is a lump of turf an effective conversation piece at parties? Do you grow vegetables out of the dirt, then eat them triumphantly, reliving the victory with each delicious bite?
