Behold: Language Week 4 (Electric Borgalor)
I hereby decree that Language Week 2006 will be held July 24-28, 2006, because I will be in town that week. It would be nice if I could nail Language Week down to the same time every year, but this has never been the case. Such is the brilliant unpredictability of Language Week! Or rather, and more accurately, such is my forgetfulness.
The rules of Language Week are as follows:
- You do
nottalk about Language Week. - You do
nottalk about Language Week. - There are no rules.
- Well, okay, there are a couple of rules but they're not very strict.
- Blog in a language that you don't usually blog in. You don't have to blog a lot if you don't want to - a few sentences will do, as long as you continue, once a day, through the week (or at least Monday to Friday). You can blog in one foreign language for five days, you can blog in five different languages or you can find some medium between the two. Or what the hell... if you only want to blog in Swedish on Tuesday, go for it.
- It would be nice, but not necessary, to include some kind of translation into your usual language. I usually do mine in other language tags. You might choose to write it all out and translate at the end. You could hide it in the post's extension. Whatever. Be free! Be wild!
You can link back to this post if you want. Or not. If you don't want. Here is this year's icon!- If you're participating, please leave a comment or a trackback and let me know. This way you can all read each other's and be inspired when you can't think of anything to say and you can make new blogging friends and we'll all live happily ever after.

I've just joined the Language Week 2006. To be honest, I have no idea what's the meaning of it. But I qualify, I'm blogging in english and my mother tongue is spanish. That's it!
I have the official icon linking to this page and I'll keep it to the end of the month. If there's another page with more information about it, please let me know. I'll change the link (and I'll go read it).

Almost forgot the manual trackback, here's the second one: Ministry of Propaganda - 29/Jul/2006: "Auf Deutsch Bitte!"
Ah well, the trackback doesn't seem to be working, so here's a quick one per hand....
