They must be saving TEH NEIL!!!!1 for later

Acceptable song choices for next week's Elvis-themed American Idol:

  • Always On My Mind
  • Kentucky Rain
  • Suspicious Minds

Unacceptable song choices for next week's Elvis-themed American Idol:

Overplayed song that I am almost positive will be sung by someone next week:

  • A Little Less Conversation

Horrifying spectre that dost float in my mind's eye when picturing next week's episode:

  • Taylor Hicks gyrating and announcing that he is "itching like a man on a fuzzy tree"
  • Taylor Hicks gyrating and announcing that he is "a hunk o' hunk o' burnin' love"

My overall reaction to the thought of next week's episode:

  • Nausea

Funny, at work today we were talking about the fact that Taylor's just *got* to do "Jailhouse Rock". And then I started laughing at the very thought of him doing "Burning Love".

I have a feeling Kat is gonna do "Can't Help Falling In Love" and Chris is going to do an anti-screaming song and go for "Love Me Tender". I know I should be shaking in my boots, but I have hope that this will all be better than the last time this show did Elvis songs.

Yes, I need therapy.

Oh, good god. Nausea is right. Maybe I can arrange to be out of the country next week.

"Can't Help Falling In Love"? No?

But I do want to vomit at the thought of Taylor Hicks declaring he is a "hunk o' burnin' love." Or swiveling his hips. Just, no.

You would actually enjoy a Neil-themed American Idol, wouldn't you?

I'm glad Katherine is still there.
