American Idol never listens to my genius suggestions!

Because I am sick and should be sleeping, instead I have discovered all of the #1 songs on the dates of birth of the remaining American Idol contestants. Tonight's theme is "Music from the year you were born," I am told, so I thought I would use the ol' This Day in Music machine to pick songs for the would-be Idols: Paris Bennett (September 23, 1988) - "Don't Worry, Be Happy" by Bobby McFerrin Katharine McPhee (March 25, 1984) - "Footloose" by Kenny Loggins Chris Daughtry (December 26, 1979) - "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)" by Rupert Holmes Elliott Yamin...

I dreamt last night that my sister and I were in the top 12 on American Idol. They had flown the top 12 to the Globe Theatre in London for a Very Special Top 12 Episode or something. This week's theme: Everybody likes little boys

Uh... American Idol. As a group, the girls are more talented than the guys, but they also have less personality and are less interesting. I know that you are all clamoring for my thoughts on this evening's episode, so I will just cut and paste an email that I sent to my AI-watching friends this evening, because I am lazy. Suck it!...

Sarah's television recaps/predictions/woes in one handy package

There may be spoilers mixed in here, so if you have not yet watched all the shows you ought to, then you'd better cover your eyes as you scroll down the page and have a trusted friend tell you when to open them. This is the extent of my non-spoiling efforts. So there. FIRST OF ALL, please have it be known that I saw The Last Temptation of Homer on TV Tuesday night and later read this thread on Fark and as a result, the name "Joey Jo-Jo Junior Shabadoo" has been echoing in my brain for hours now. Whenever...
