Eichhörnchen!

This Lady¹ and Her Husband² came all the way across the ocean just to visit the Great Lakes region.

I know, what the heck?

Well, the advantage of their crazy ideas is that they got to spend a few days basking in my presence (har) and exploring the sights of scenic Ann Arbor! W00t! Yesterday we walked all the way around the stadium, across the U-M campus and I introduced This Lady and Her Husband to Real American Hamburgers, as opposed to the tripe-and-bits-of-feet that are probably the ingredients of fast food hamburgers. Srahmom and Srahdad also helped to introduce The Germans to The Zingerman's Experience³... This Lady and Her Husband enjoyed the sandwiches and they bought the book.

You're welcome for all of the business and publicity, Zingerman's. Yes, I will accept free sandwiches for life. So kind of you to offer.

¹ I'm confused as to what I should call her, since her online name is a pseudonym...
² He's never identified by name on her blog either, so he shall be called "Her Husband."
³ Holy crap, what's with all the capital letters?

Okay, the world is just too frickin' small when two of my friends in the blogoverse who don't actually know each other are being visited by the same pair of Germans on vacation to the States. Life is too weird.

Thanks for offering me one of your free sandwiches for life, Srah. I humbly accept....

Eichhornchen is one of the awesomest German words ever! It's almost completely impossible for anglophones to pronounce. . . . (anglophones? That can't be right, can it?) Voll abgefahren, Kuele! (It is obvious I don't speak German at all, right?)

Hello there!
This Lady and Her Husband have just arrived back safely in Chicago without wrecking the car. They really enjoyed the day with Srah and Srahdad and Srahmom and are still telling everybody that Zingerman's is THE place to go in Ann Arbor.
