On clothing and language
I've decided that this post is a meme. The theme is clothing and language. Go blog/comment your own thoughts or stories related to these two words, then read mine afterwards and we'll see how differently people can interpret and relate the two concepts. I imagine it will either be fascinating or you will all ignore me.
If you like it, then perhaps we'll do it again sometime with two more words. If you don't like it, then perhaps it shall never happen again. Or perhaps I'll keep inflicting it on you in a sad, desperate attempt to make you love me.
Read on, MacDuff.
Some people are very concerned about their personal style. People are often drawn to others who have a similar style and are less comfortable around those whose style is different. I am too, but I think my approach is somewhat different from the people around me.
Lots of people would interpret "style" as physical style - the way one dresses or grooms oneself. This, as you may have guessed, is not a big concern for me, who recently has been wearing the same sweatshirt she got for free about three or four days a week and can't be arsed to blow-dry her hair. I suppose I notice this kind of style in others, to some extent, but I don't think I think about it as much as some people do.
To me, the much more important forms of style are in the way one lives and expresses oneself. I am much more interested in finding people who, like me, can appreciate and be amused by the small things in life and who appreciate creativity in language. Some people see their bodies as a canvas on which to express themselves. I see my tongue (and my blog) in the same way.

This is like OneWord, except it's TwoWords. I am nervous because I'm afraid I'm going to say the same things as you. But I will try anyway.
