S. Diddy
Here is the weather report from last night. Yeah, I'm gonna die.
Frank is predicting snow today. I'm not ready! I'm not ready for any of this weather. I don't have enough sweaters. I don't have enough warm socks. I don't have a coat.
I do have a coat, actually, but it's The Puffy Coat. The Puffy Coat serves, each year, as an impetus to go out and buy a winter coat. It is horribly large and blue and makes me look like Violet Beauregarde with an eensy-weensy head when I wear it. It isn't even as warm as it really should be, given all that puff.
And yet I've had it for years and years because I can't be arsed to go out and get something better. Or because, like this year, winter sneaks up on me when I'm not paying attention and I have to settle for it... and once I've been seen in the Puffy Coat, I figure I'm fashionally-ruined anyway and might as well save the money.
I'm resisting as long as possible and wearing layer after layer of sweaters and sweatshirts. About the time I catch pneumonia, I'll probably give in.

We have approximately the same forcast as you, Srah. Except no below-freezing temps yet. However, they did predict snow today in the higher elevations.
It doesn't matter though, because I'm in wicked good spirits. (That's wicked said as an English person, not as a redneck.)

I'm freezing my bum off and it's 60. (But the wind is blowing, which obviously doesn't make a difference because, according to weather.com it "Feels Like 60F." I think I'm just a wuss. Time to move to Phoenix.)
Is it Christmas yet?

Just go buy a coat.
It blizzarded on my walk into class/work this morning. Seriously blizzarded.

Give me due warning--I can bring my camera out. I doubt there's any way of getting out of this now!

I wouldn't know... all my coats came to me via thrift stores. I haven't owned a new coat since I was little. I can't help it... U-M has all my coat money.
May I request a picture of you in The Puffy Coat as your next "About Srah" photo?
Holy cow - it's cold over there. I'm still walking around in shirt-sleeves (and trousers of course, otherwise I'd get arrested).
