Today's tea-total: one cup (and seven imaginary ones)
I am probably dangerously addicted to tea. I laughed at all of the coffee-addicts and their caffeine cravings, but I think I may be having a similar problem.
I was in a hurry yesterday morning and didn't have time to make myself tea before I left home. I felt dead when I got to work, so I went to the kitchen and made myself a cup of tea. As I drank it, I could feel my senses waking up, much like the stupid guy I heard on NPR the other day chronicling his pre- and post-coffee morning.
There really isn't much caffeine in tea*, so it must be psychological rather than a physical addiction. Just don't bother me until I've had my first one (or five) of the morning.

* Actually, in French they differentiate between the stimulant in coffee (caffeine) and the one in tea (theine).

my favourite tea is Rose Petal...yea, yea, I know...tres`metro-sexual...anyway, tea being a diuretic, I can't imbibe as much as I'd like during the day(age thing I think)......my part time job as a peer tutor in the computer lab at college is tortue...I can hear the librarians in the next room brewing their tea...I sip my water and scowl at anyone who dares approach me for help
ah coffee.... I recall in high school my goal during lunch period was to drink enough coffee so that my hands would shake - that way I might be able to stay awake in geometry class....
