A thought has occurred to me
(and luckily the MT window was already open)
I don't blog for anyone but myself. That said, I don't think I'd blog if I didn't have readers. I can't think of anything else to explain the fact that I've never been able to keep a journal for more than a month, but this has been going on for twenty-three of 'em. I am a shameless exhibitionist.
Thank you, people.

My family always bought me diary/journals to write in when I was young(er). After 3rd January, all the pages remained blank for the rest of the year. I think blogging is different (or it is for me at least), in that it isn't really that kind of intimate tell-all medium. Maybe if I had kept mine an anonymous blog written under a pseudonym, and not told my friends and family about it, I would have ended up writing more personal stuff. But that's not my style, anyway. I'm too private.

I had a diary when I was a kid. One day at camp (say, age 10), I came back to my tent and found all the other girls reading it. Back then I had a good friend named Harry who I used to play with a lot, and so I would write about what we did. The girls were making jokes about the fact that I played with a boy.
I've never kept a diary since then.
While living in France, I did keep an electronic journal of everything I did each day (without missing a single day in the entire 6 months!) but it's password protected. :)
Oh no, Srah. Thank you!
