30 Days of Harry Potter - day 3: What would your patronus be?

I established, once upon a time, if I lived in the universe of His Dark Materials I would want my dæmon to be a fox. So I suppose if I lived in the Harry Potter universe, I would choose the same animal for my Patronus.

I share a Patronus with Seamus Finnigan (but I don't think that says much about shared personality traits, because Dolores Umbridge and Minerva McGonagall both have cats). I think our Patronus could hold its own in a fight; foxes are pretty feisty with a lot of sharp bits. Which leads me to another opportunity to quote myself:

Here is my problem with Patronuses: What the hell is an otter going to do in a fight? (Don't even get me started on Cho's swan.) Harry's stag is always running at Dementors and tossing them around with its antlers. Is Hermione's going to roll over on its back and distract the Dementors with cuteness as it tries to open a clam on its soft little belly? Actually, that does sound pretty cute. Awww, wook at de widdle ottew - Hey, where did Harry Potter go?
