Thank you, Mysterious Benefactor!

This set of rubber jar grips came via UPS today. The sender was listed only as "Amazon.com" so I don't know who sent it. It may be that the sender's information was lost because Amazon was sending third-party goods, or that the sender wished to remain anonymous.

In any case, it's clearly a blog-reader who wanted to save me from having to get married in order to get my jars open.

Thank you, whoever you are!

And I just figured you could do it with the old hammer a hole in the lid technique. It's what my husband does when even he's not strong enough and then I get all disappointed in his manly strength. So, it wasn't me either.

I think you sent them to yourself.

How many people know your address? That should limit the suspects.

Awesome! How can I get people to send me stuff?

Pesky jars are no reason to get married indeed.

have you two discussed it . . . . or are you hinting to him?!?

oohhhh the excitement . . . the suspense!

Hexnaw! In my jar-opening post, everyone said that they solved the jar problem by getting married. So I figured that was the only way...

The Zingerman's gift basket is nice and all, but you can't wear it on your finger. I say hold out for more!

You're welcome. I couldn't bear to think of you all alone, struggling with your olive jar.
