Mmmm, free bagels

I never plan ahead and can never remember these things. So since I'm thinking of it now:

I have to plan out my day on Friday and I thought I remembered seeing a list compiled somewhere of the places in Ann Arbor/Ypsi where you can get free birthday food/services. Any suggestions as to where I can find the list or your own favorite birthday freebies?

Stucchi's used to, but I don't think they do any more.

- Good Time Charley's dinner, used to do drinks if at night
- Cottage Inn dinner
- Palio's dessert

Last year I hit Stucchi's and Zingerman's. The Main Street Ventures restaurants all give a free entree, as does Seva. Charlie's didn't want to give me a free anything, but I didn't push it, so maybe they do if you ask.

Make sure you get to Zingerman's early. They were out of good bagels by the time I got there. I thought the Main Street Ventures gave 20% off the entire bill. There are several places that do free drinks, but I don't remember them all.

Do you plan to spend the day going from restaurant to restaurant for all your free B Day goodies? What a clever idea!

I was taken to Mountain Jacks last year and got a free piece of chocolate cake for my birthday. I shared it with my neice who was treating me that day. I don't know any Ann Arbor places that have free B Day treats.
