Get thee to a movie theater, posthaste!
Who says it's a bad summer for movies? I've seen plenty of nice things, including:
- Fifth-graders who can dance better than I can
- Darling Oompa Loompas singing Roald Dahl's original songs
- Pinguiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinos!

First: I have no idea.
Second: Oooh. Tim Burton. Johnny Depp. Candy. Yay.
Third: Awwwwwww. Penguins. Top five on the list of animals I would love to have as a pet. No, really. That's what happens when you see zoo documentaries featuring tame penguins who prefer snuggling above all. I want one. Now.

But you do need to dance to be on Dancing With the Stars!
Haven't seen the movie yet, but in the previews it seems like Johnny Depp is doing a cross between the original Gene Wilder Wonka and Jim Carrey. It didn't appeal to me. Please tell me that it's actually ok when you see it!

Willy Wonka was really weird. There was something endearing about him, and yet strange. He put me on edge.
But the rest of the movie was definitely good enough to make up for him! It's weird - you would think that it would ruin the movie, but there's so much good stuff that the weirdness is only a minor distraction.
penguins!
