Another one bites the dust

I am sure that the most successful phone interviews do not involve the interviewing parties going "Hello? Hello? Are you still there? Can you hear me?", apparently having missed out on half of what the interviewee just said.

Thanks, TDS Metrocom! I wish you'd die!

that sucks! The interviewer should not hold that against you though.

Just curious, why didn't you conduct the interview on a land line? I'm sure you have one at home right? And if you were at work, you had plenty.

At least you weren't on a pay phone. Nothing like being interrupted by the operator "please deposit another dime to continue this call." Rarely is there a situation where 'it could have been worse' doesn't apply. Don't sweat it.

I'm sure they wouldn't hold it against me consciously, but if they didn't hear any of the good stuff or if they remember me as the girl whose phone didn't work, that's not very good.

I did conduct the interview on a landline! Don't get TDS Metrocom!

Well...I don't think that they should hold that against you either. Not your fault the phone service sucked!
