My love/hate relationship with milk
When I was growing up, my parents had to force me to drink milk. I would avoid it all through dinner but then I would have to finish the glass before I left the table. I would hold my nose and chug it down. I knew it was good for me, but I don't like the taste or the smell or the consistency... I don't know what I don't like about it, but I just don't like milk. A small glass (just enough to wash things down) goes well with brownies or chocolate chip cookies, but I hate it with meals!
I thought I was a milk-hater, but recently I've realized that I love milk in everything else. I hate milk on its own, but I love chocolate milk. I like my tea sugar-and-milky, my chai milky and milk tea is usually my choice at Bubble Island. When I order a White Russian, I sometimes drink it down partway, return to the bar and ask them to weaken it with more milk.
As long as my milk is flavoured with chocolate or tea or spices or Kahlua or tapioca bubbles... I am a super milk fan.

I also despise milk! Even worse, I can't stand it when people pronounce it "melk", which everyone down here seems to do.
I remember several times were you somehow managed to slip your milk to me and I'd drink it for you.
