'When vague desire is the fire in the eyes of chicks whose sickness is the games they play...'
I like Best Buy better than Circuit City and this opinion is based solely on the fact that I think it smells better. I don't know why they should even smell different, since they have basically the same products. Maybe it's the employees.
Taking this post in a different, only tenuously related direction, I stopped into Circuit City today to browse and window shop and buy some blank CDs. They had a great rack* of $7.99 "Best of" CDs and it occurred to me that I have been meaning for some time to buy a CD by The Association and that this was the sort of band that should have a $7.99 "Best of" CD. I asked the cashier if she had a catalogue of everything in stock and then asked her to look them up. She informed me that they didn't have anything by that group. I was rather disappointed and thought to myself, 'Why don't you have anything at all by The Association? Not even a "Best of" CD? They had a lot of big hits, back in the day, back... forty years ago.'
It hadn't really struck me until then that the music I listen to is all around forty years old now. I am so not cool.

I'll get it to you. I'll e-mail you at your umich address.
I'm not cool either, but there's a good 2-disc retrospective of the group called Just The Right Sound. It came out a few years ago. I think there's a one-disc version of it that's essentially the greatest hits. I doubt it's $7.99, but it's probably not tons more.
