Reason #4589 Why I Should Have Been Raised By A Jealous, Fictional Musical Psycho Instead of My Family

The Phantom of the Opera: "He was bound to love you/ When he heard you sing" "Sing for me, my Angel of Music!"

vs.

Srahfamily: "She's singing again! Ha ha ha!" *slams door*

*sniff*

The Phantom would have been so supportive of my dreams. He would have recognized my true talent and--

... Oh, talent. Drat.

Did that really happen again? If so, I'm sad I missed it. I love it when that happens!

Oh, and I finally saw the movie. Jealous, fictional, musical psychos are the best kind of psychos!

gravatar srah - January 25, 2005 - 11:49 PM -

No, it didn't happen again. I was listening to the music and thought of this.

Were you listening to Flower Drum Song?

GRANT AVENUE! SAN FRANCISCO! CALIFORNIA! USA!

I always see this musical when it comes to Dallas but haven't seen the movie yet. I can do some mean phantom singin' in the shower though! ;)

Becky, how much did it suck that they ADDED songs to the movie? I haven't even seen it and I am disgusted.

Huh?

Also, why are you asking me in the comments of Sarah's blog rather than e-mailing me or IMing me?

For the good of mankind I try not to sing in public. It is best this way, trust me. My son once put up with my singing but now that he is a teen he just winces and gives me that "please don't do that in public" look. Which of course means I threaten to do it in his high school cafeteria if he is a bit too slow cleaning up his room. I'm such a meanie huh?
