Tsunami tragedy

I felt like I was obliged to say something about the tsunami disaster, but I couldn't think of anything original to say. It's terrible and catastrophic and disgusting. I didn't really have anything to add to what all of the bloggers around me have said and I felt bad about that.

Yesterday on the news they were having a story about the Americans that were killed/missing (because American news loves Americans) and I suddenly had the feeling that someone had recently told me they were going to Thailand for Christmas Break. I can't remember who. So now I'm scared for a person I actually know, and I don't know who it is or even if it's just my overactive imagination inventing the conversation.

I wish I still had nothing to say.

I am just glad American nes loves America, because no other news on the planet does.
