Give your mom a hug.

Through BlogExplosion I came across the story of an Alaska girl who had her mother murdered and then seemed to think it was quite an inconvenience to her own life. From her livejournal:

"Just to let everyone know, my mother was murdered

I won't have computer acess until the weekend or so because the police took my computer to go through the hard drive. I thank everyone for their thoughts and e-mails, I hope to talk to you when I get my computer back."

This is despicable. Mums are precious commodities, folks.

Wow. This is screwed up and it happened right before the holidays! Did you stumble onto the Web site that the police are investigating?

I love my mom. As a matter of fact, I wish that I lived closer to her. I didn't even get to spend Thanksgiving with her...

I guess I am most shocked by the school superintendents response that "we need to withhold judgement until we know WHY this happened." What is up with that? This girl obviously sought attention, fame, etc and in a VERY SICK WAY! Unreal! I hope they FRY this kid!

It could be a hoax. There have been entire fictional journals made. Not too long ago Matthew Baldwin of the morning news wrote one on assigment from the morning news.
