Code Red! Attention! We have Code Red... in the vending machine
I don't think I've been in a hospital for something like five years now. I don't know what "CODE BLUE" means, but it sure makes people in scrubs run around a lot. It's sort of like TV!
The hospital is sort of like the lamest summer camp ever. They have activities planned for you, but it's never Arts & Crafts or archery... instead it's kind of sucky things like "9-10 PM: Sitting up on the edge of the bed".

I had a code called on me when i was in the hospital. I kept passing out whenever i would stand up after my surgery... and sure enough, after the 2nd time there was at least 6 nurses and doctors around me! But i had abdominal surgery -- knee surgery is most likely to be less risky... :)

I wondered about the announcement of "Code Pink in the Birthing Center". I would use Code Pink to announce that a baby girl was born, but I assume that it was something much more serious than that.
I hope your mom is doing ok with her fake knee!
