I had actually forgotten that I'd had a surprise 21st birthday party until I was paging through one of my photo albums last night. This is mostly because it wasn't a very big surprise.

I was an orientation leader for incoming international students my senior year at Albion. One of my orientees asked me earlier in the day what time the party was, not knowing that it was a surprise party.I told him I didn't know anything about a party and while it confused me at first, it planted the seeds of suspicion so I pretty much knew what I was I was walking into when I did.

It was a great party, but not an enormous surprise. How about you? Have you ever had/thrown a surprise party? Tell 's about it.

My friends threw a surprise party for me on my 18th birthday. I stepped in the door with my girlfriend, made some sort of stupid remark about how much I missed velcro shoes, and all of the sudden, 30 or so people appeared out of nowhere and yelled, "surprise!" It was kinda cool, I guess.

For my sixteenth birthday my friends TOTALLY suprised me. My friend Paul asked if I wanted to hang out with him, so I picked him up at his Karate class and we walked to his house. Of course, he had all my friends there with music and food and Twister and yay. It was the bestest surprise ever!

I've never had enough friends that even cared tht it was my birthday - except some people came to my house once and gave me a potato shooter - I think that was my 18th birthday

My friends threw a surprise party for my 21st... except that I got glandular fever and couldn't go, so they had to cancel it. They ended up having it a month later (with me there!). My parents pretended to go to a quiz night, but when I got to my friend's house (we were supposedly going out for dinner), my parents and friends were there. It was great!
