You should at least do up your hair. It's a psychological thing, but you'll feel more professional.

No, Boy With Strange Interest In My Footwear, I wore regular shoes. I decided it was cold enough this morning that I was only going to get as dressed up as "not jeans."

And as a result, I stuttered and stammered and panicked and will probably only make it through the screening process based on my connections.
