Mom, Dad, Geoffrey... am I adopted?

My erstwhile fiancée sent me this link this morning, so I buried myself in tales of children raised by wolves and monkeys and sheep.

Why was I not a feral child? Why do I miss out on all of these great opportunities? Why did my parents have to go and love me so much? Didn't they know what they were depriving me of by not dropping me off in the middle of the woods somewhere?

I would like to have been raised by giraffes!

I wanted to drop you off in the woods, but your dad wouldn't let me. Sorry about all the love and stuff we showered on you. We won't let it happen again.

MB: No, via IM.

MY: Not adopted, or not a giraffe? I make far too much noise to be a giraffe.

M3: *grin*

I want to be raised by plants. I think it would be a great boost to the scientific research of herbological sociology.

Oooh. I should've been raised by Shih-Tzus. I'd have had lovely hair.

While this is not *exactly* on subject, I had a dream last night that there were a whole bunch of gorillas and even some baboons in my backyard. The baboons had babies and my dad went to play with them and I warned him that baboons bite.

I just thought of that because of the whole monkey mentioning.
