The weather and - what was I talking about?

Yesterday, there was a crisp juiciness as I bit into the nectarine that was very pleasurable - until I realized it wasn't a nectarine at all, but a HUMAN HEAD!!

Sorry. Distracted there. Starting again.

Yesterday, there was a crisp...ness to the air that signaled the arrival of fall. I was excited because I realized that I hadn't had a Michigan fall last year... or really any fall at all, because Vichy weather was an ass and decided to give spring and summer a miss and went straight on into autumn.

Sorry. Distracted again.

As I was saying, Vichy weather was an ass and decided to go straight to winter as soon as I got off the train. So as I walked across North Campus before driving home, I was happy to feel the coolness that reminds me of falling leaves and football games and finally getting to wear sweaters without being considered a mutant.

And today the weather is the same. Fall really has arrived...

And I've had enough. One evening was good for me. I'm all set. Is it summer yet?

You are never satisfied. You should take one day at a time and revel in it, rather than pining for something to come.

You're funny. Try living in Vermont, where the beginning of fall is heralded by large coach busses full of Japanese people with neon pink fanny packs.
