When I was in France, feeling disconnected from everyone back home and receiving alumni newsletters from Albion in the mail, I sent in an Albionote of my own:

Sarah M*****, '02, for the past year has worked as an English assistant in a technical/ professional high school in Cusset, France. She returned to the US in May and will begin graduate studies in the fall with a human-computer interaction specialization at the University of Michigan School of Information. Her Web site is:

Now that I'm back in the US and don't care, it's finally been published and it embarrasses me. Why is it so much longer than everyone else's? Why did I think anyone would care about the tiniest details of my life? Why did I have to be a nerd and put my URL in there?

Why hasn't anyone actually bothered to visit?, is the question that bothers me most of all. If I'm going to be embarrassed, I might as well get increased traffic out of it.

You're not so much of a nerd. If it had been me, I would have done something like - that way I could more accurately track which visits found out about the site from there.

When you are a famous blogger with millions of adoring fans, I hope you won't forget us little people who've been visiting since (nearly) the beginning. (With, admittedly, a few hiati.)

Hiati? That's supposed to be the plural of haitus. Did I just make up a new word again?

Me likey. Hiati hiati hiati.

I looked it up. The plural is either "hiatuses" or "hiatus".

I like hiati better. Pronounced High-ate-eye.

I never looked at any part of this site other than the weblog.

You can pronounce it high-eighty if you want. That's more fun to say, I think.

I have looked at other parts, but only once or twice. I stalked the pictures and checked the links (mine's wrong there, by the way). I peeked at a few other thing, but once I had seen it, I had seen it.

But I still think it's good to have other things on your site. :) I am trying to think of ways to beef mine up.

me, I stumbled across the "favorite things" page in a freak web search accident. but I was intrigued enough to look around some more. Now I'm stuck in the blogs

Except for the fact that it is a horrible picture (outdated, as well), I think my favorite thing on your site is the picture of us, your loving family, showing our true feelings for you:)
