Katie, the answer to your question is that long URLs in my recent comments don't wrap, so everything disappears under my text until more comments push those out of the way.

Sue, I wish I got British TV, but I will have to watch Circus on video instead.

It was an answer to your question. In the right column of the blog, there's a "Recent Comments" thing. When someone puts a long URL in, it doesn't wrap - it pushes everything to the left, so the contents of that column are hiding underneath my blog. It does make sense! It does!
