Wall o' memes
Katie wants a meme and by gum, she'll get her meme or my name isn't Sparkling Joe Flanagan. What's on the walls in the room where I am, you ask?
I am in the Sorting Room, where one wall is covered in weird crap the sorting staff found in people's collections, like magazine ads featuring OJ Simpson, "I'm a Mondale fan" paper fans, and a big metal sign with Smokey the Bear on it. Another wall is covered in shelves full of boxes. Another wall has some kind of Chinese painting, and the last one has a painting of a sailing ship with lots of masts and sails. We will pretend it is a pirate ship, because I would like to be in a room with a pirate ship. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
What's on your walls? And why am I sparkling?

I'm in my room. I have 1997 and 1998 Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup Championship posters, two Van Gogh prints, a poster of the 1998 UMich hockey (signed, I believe by the 1999 team), a poster of Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, a poster of, ahem, Jonathan Taylor Thomas (hey, it scares people away from my room), a poster for the movie "The Closer You Get," and a Canadian flag.

I am in my office - there is a bulletin board - inspired by srah's sorting room wall - on which my sparkling diplomas from Albion College and UM, a Wassily Kandinski calendar, a VanGogh exhibit poster,a glass christmas Starr star ornament, a clock, and an oil painting of a brown cow hang. To the left of my desk is a cabinet full of microfilm on which I have posted my favorite srahblahblah quote from March 20, 2003 - "Tout ce dont j'ai . . .de la journee." I also have windows to look out and see either trees or the courtyard of my building which also has a basketball court

That's exciting... having a quote by me on the wall. :) And luckily that post is one of the ones that came through the Move To MT intact, so here it is.
I'm in my kitchen, so there's um, cabinets on the wall. And some light switches. You are sparkling because, um, you have a healthy glow about you...?
