Tuesday This-or-That?

1. Dr. Seuss characters: the Cat in the Hat or the Grinch?
The Grinch has Whos, but I think I'll go with The Cat in the Hat. It has my old car's namesake, Roger, whose name is not Roger in the book.

2. "Anne of Green Gables" or "Little Women"?
Anne of Green Gables! Gilbert! Moody Spurgeon MacPherson! Gilbert!

3. Nancy Drew or the Hardy Boys?
I've only read one Hardy Boys book, but I had a sizable collection of Nancy Drews. Besides, I have to go with her for female solidarity or something.

4. Winnie the Pooh characters: Tigger or Eeyore?
Blargh, I hate both of them. Pooh.

5. Which author: Judy Blume or Beverly Cleary?
Judy Blume, I guess. Both are good.

6. Roald Dahl books: "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory" (Willy Wonka) or "James & the Giant Peach"?
Some of the bugs in James & the Giant Peach scare me. The book's always made me a little uncomfortable.

7. "Harry Potter" or "The Wizard of Oz"?
Harry Potter! But if we're talking movies, Wizard of Oz.

8. Curious George or Madeline?
Madeline. She's French. Hee hee.

9. "A Wrinkle in Time" or "Little House on the Prairie"?
That's a toughie. First, I have my usual stupid announcement that Almanzo Wilder is my distant cousin. But I think I might go with A Wrinkle in Time. Actually, if we're talking about those two specific books as opposed to the series, it gets more difficult, because neither is my favorite in their respective series.

10. Dr. Seuss again: "Horton Hears a Who" or "The Lorax"?
The Lorax has a good moral, but Horton has Whos. I like schmall people.
