Hollywood connections

Have you ever played around with Hollywood and real-life connections between celebrities and characters? After writing about Anne of Green Gables this morning, I got to thinking about how, through several connections, you could sort of make her the sister of the ventriloquist's dummy, Charlie McCarthy.

Anyone know how?
