AMBY?
I have an appointment next Tuesday about my allergies. Every time I go to our stinking doctor's office, I have a different person. This time, her name is Amby. I don't like her already, because when I think of the name "Amby", the following things come to mind:
- the name "Amber"
- the name "Bambi"
- the word "ambivalent"
- the word "namby-pamby"
I'm sure I'll come up with several more by the time I'm done with her. Isn't it horrible for me to be so prejudiced about someone's name? I guess if you're named after hardened tree sap, there isn't much you can do with it.
