The Wednesday Whimsy
The life of a Jedi (light) offers strict discipline, complete control over passionate/selfish/hurtful emotions, no place for love or family, sacrifice of your own desires, constant duty to safety and justice for others, and deference to the wisdom of your elders. The life of a Sith (dark) is made up of complete indulgence in your desires, control over others, no responsability or deference to anyone, the ability to take whatever you want, and cool lightning-zappy fingers. Regardless of the intergalactic political situation, which side of the Force would you choose?
I like to be a good girl. I think I would choose the light side. If I were on the dark side, I think I would feel too guilty. Or I might just leave the Order altogether. But I suppose part of the training is learning how to give up things like family and love. And you can always be a rebellious Jedi like Qui-Gon and not trust your elders too much...

I would like to be Wedge Antilles. He survives the whole IV-VI trilogy without bringing too much attention to himself. Plus, through the magic of time travel, that yummy Obi-Wan Kenobi is his nephew. Heh.
If you could get stranded with any Star Wars species, group, or character on any Star Wars planet, who/where/why?
Ewoks are cuddly, but they also like to eat people. So maybe not them. Obi-Wan Kenobi is cuddly, too. No, wait, he's a Jedi and can't give in to his desires or fall in love with me. So I guess I'll have to be stranded with Han Solo. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
Describe a recent dream.
I had a dream last week where I was in the parking lot behind our family's church with a Brita pitcher, filtering water. The water I was filtering had these clear centipedes in it and they kept growing and multiplying... echh!
