RIP
RIP The poet and statesman died yesterday at the age of 95. We read some of his poetry in my Francophone Literature class in Grenoble but I know him best as the first president of Senegal and one of the founders of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, which is a political body linking the French-speaking countries of the world.
Please take a minute to learn about his life.
