The truth is, in the end, I'm pretty useless without friends
30 Days of Harry Potter - day 12: Who would you want to be friends with at Hogwarts?
Who wouldn't I want to be friends with?
Well, I would not have any Slytherin friends. I don't object to Slytherins on principle, but the few Slytherins we meet in the books are not particularly nice people. I wouldn't rule it out, if it turned out that Daphne Greengrass or Tracey Davis were nice once you got to know them.
Go Ravenclaw!
My first choices, if I get to pick my Hogwarts friends, would be Neville and Hermione. I think Harry and Ron would probably come with the territory but we wouldn't be close. I also don't think I'd be close to Luna. We'd be in the same house and the same group of friends, but would rarely interact one-on-one. I'd probably be on good terms or even close friends with other Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs like Padma Patil, Hannah Abbot and Susan Bones. I would avoid Justin Finch-Fletchley.
I think I would probably roll my eyes a lot at Lavender and Parvati and all the girls squealing over Cedric Diggory (and Gilderoy Lockhart for that matter). I would probably have a crush on Fred and/or George and/or Lee Jordan, especially if I was in Harry's year and they were Older Men.
