He's like a real-life Robin Sparkles

He looks like a Real Grownup Actor here, more Van Johnson than Van Wilder
Congratulations on being People Magazine's Sexiest Man of the Year, Ryan Reynolds! According to Yahoo! News, his reaction to this great honor is:
"Now it's going to be, 'Sexiest man, take out the garbage.' That does sound better," Reynolds said. "The most difficult part is going to be organically working this title into a conversation with random strangers."

I am a bit conflicted about his new movie Buried, because while I like the idea of a movie with nothing to look at but Ryan Reynolds, I also worry a little about a drama where the only actor carrying the entire film is the guy who has played Guy Who Is Too Old To Be Doing Whatever He's Still Doing But Refuses to Grow Up in almost everything else he's been in. I mean... not that I doubt you and your dramatic acting abilities, Ryan! You, um, you... well, I'm sure you'll do fine, and if not, you'll at least look pretty doing it. Roger Ebert liked it, so that's probably good enough for me.

Anyway, just remember, Sexiest Man, that whatever else you do, you will always be Macro from The Odyssey to me.

I think Jon Hamm should have won, mostly because I just started watching season 4 of Mad Men and he seems like he could use some cheering up.
