To y'all's own self be true
I was browsing through Netflix and found a movie with this description:
Igby Walter, a do-gooder sound-mixing engineer, meets and falls in love with untalented violinist Juliet while both are working on a low-budget cowboy film version of "Hamlet."
I thought this sounded hilariously bad, but what made it even better was the user review that said:
With the [...] synopsis of the film I thought it would have been a lot better than this film turned out to be. It was pretty disappointing altogether.

Please eat your own porridge, and do not steal it from bears
Having a song in your head is bad enough, but I have a tendency to get songs in my head with completely wrong lyrics that seem to pop out of nowhere. For example, when I get "Yankee Doodle" in my head¹, it's never the first verse, but a mangled version of the second verse that goes:
Father and I went down to camp
Along with Captain Stubing
And there we bought four hundred fifty
Feet of copper tubing
I don't know where this came from in the first place, but it has replaced the actual lyrics in my head, to the point where they looked totally unfamiliar when I read them on Wikipedia just now.
Anyway, the whole reason I wanted to write this post was to get this current instance of mangled lyrics written down and hopefully out of my head, where it has been lodged all weekend:
Come on, kitchen storage
Girls, eat your porridge
You're welcome.
¹ I get "Yankee Doodle" in my head more often than you'd think, thanks to a teacher who used the song as an example for how long you should wash your hands.
