Saturday Movie Meme thing (on Sunday)
I was planning to write something about the movie I saw last week, but I'm terrible at movie reviews ("Movie X is good. You should go.") so I decided to do a meme instead:
1. The last movie you went to see in a theater:
The Chorus (Les Choristes). It was good. You should go. It's a French movie about a new surveillant (I forget how they translated this word - something like supervisor?) who arrives in a school for troubled boys. He has a past as a musician and forms a chorus in the school that brings the boys together and uses their energy in a positive way and etc. etc. etc. It was really big in France last summer, but alas I was living in the middle of nowhere and didn't get a chance to make it to a town to see it there.
I laughed, I cried, I recommended it to you.
2. The last movie you watched at home:
At my home: The African Queen
At someone else's home: E.T. (the new, messed up CGIed version)
3. How many movies do you own?
I have no idea how many I own myself. When I move out, I'm sure there will be much heartache over that question, when we divide up what goes with me and what stays behind and I discover that everything with Harrison Ford in it belongs to my mom. I'm just going to go count/estimate the family collection, though...
*runs off to the other room*
OH MY GOD.
We have somewhere in the ballpark of 400 VHS and 200 DVDs.
4. Got Netflix (or a similar service)?
Who needs Netflix with our ridiculously gargantuan collection?

5. Original trilogy of Star Wars crammed into one spot?
