I'm beginning to look a lot like Thanksgiving
I have no spring wardrobe*. My between-winter-and-summer clothing selection is mostly made up of dark and earthy colors that are more appropriate in the autumn.
I don't really want a spring wardrobe. Pastels are not for me. I've tried shopping in the spring and the only things on the shelves are pastels and horrible shades of neon green. I love the shapes and textures and styles of spring clothing, but there are no colors I would feel comfortable wearing in public.
But I still feel funny walking around in orange and dark red when there are no leaves to go with my shirt. I am clashing with Nature!
I'll have to begin celebrating Autumn in April. Bonfire, anyone?

* I want to write Spring wardrobe, so that you know that I am talking about the season and not a wardrobe made out of springs. But grammar tells me not to. Grammar! Cruel mistress!

I suggest you learn how to (perform the action of making a piece of clothing out of cloth)*. Then you can make your own!
Says the girl who can't (perform the action of making a piece of clothing out of cloth)* and doesn't want to.
* Your sissy prude content filter wouldn't let me write the actual word.

Ah ha! I just so happen to be having a bonfire Friday night! You'll just have to come. As long as the bonfire site isn't under three feet of spring runoff, that is. (Mmmm, soggy s'mores. . . .)
Maybe you could have written "Spring wardrobe, I have none." and gotten around that rule.
