That was not a wine-tasting. That was a wine-drinking. Foods were tasty though, thanks.

A wine tasting involves sampling different wines in an educated way. Sometimes you even spit out the wine instead of swallowing it!
A wine drinking involves drinking a hell of a lot of wine in a semi-educated but not very smart way.
A wine tasting should not involve full glasses of wine!
When is a wine-tasting not a wine-drinking? Well, I've only been to one, so I don't really know (that one was a wine-drinking).
