Holiday Download Extravaganza: F is for Foo Fighters!

This song was on the soundtrack to the X-Files movie. I don't quite know why or whether it actually played during the movie. It doesn't sound particularly X-Filesish to me - it wasn't written by Mark Snow* or performed by Johnny Mathis. I like it anyway.

That song was on their second album too. The soundtrack company probably needed album filler, so they might have borrowed the existing track to

a. fill out their track list
b. promote the Foo Fighters album

I have the 'inspired by the show' album Songs in the Key of X, which I think rawks. It does, indeed, have the Foo on it, too...
