« It's a good day
Had a chat yesterday with the teacher who mentioned me in class, wherein I said something along the lines of, "You know, the best classes are the ones that ruin your life." I guess I didn't mean ruin per se, but rather "permanently change the way you look at the world so that you never see things in the same way again." I think I managed to backpedal enough that he got the general idea.
Today I was annoyed to discover a user interface design flaw... with a parking structure. I parked in the S. Forest structure on the "4 - Yellow" level and took the elevator down to the ground floor. When my meeting was over, I remembered that I was parked on the yellow level. While waiting for the elevator to come, I sort of ran my eyes across the sign that pointed out the floor numbers and colors but didn't pay much attention because I already knew where I was parked. I got in... and forgot which number corresponded with yellow. There was no guide inside the car, so I had to open the door, get out, look at the sign and get back in.
What am I going to do about this? Well, probably just bitch about it in my weblog. I ain't no interface designer!
