Another Saturday night and I ain't got nobody
But that's my own damn fault. Caroline went to Paris and I probably could have tagged along. But I decided I wanted to hang around here my first weekend, in the name of getting settled in. Well, if being settled in consists of sleeping until noon, watching awful Jennifer Lopez movies dubbed into French (again) by myself and playing The Sims all day, then me voici settled in.
Maybe I'll just go to bed early. Then tomorrow I think I'll force myself to get out of my room in the morning and go for a long walk, exploring the countryside. It might be boring on my own, but I'll bring my camera and I'll bring you all along in my mind. :)
In happier news, I finally got around to emailing everyone I know in France (and Belgium and Germany) to let them know I'm here. Perhaps my future weekends will be more exciting than this one.

Sleeping till noon sounds good to me -- i had to get up at 6am to go biking in a race that took all day (plus it was raining, so my shoes got all soggy)... I was so tired i went to sleep at 9:30 that night!

Take some pictures for us! I suggest going to see some chateaus -- i hear they are quite lovely outside your area...

And yes, take lots of pictures, so the people in your mind can look thru your eyes too!
