(Beverage) supplies attack!

Why the hell am I getting a package from Google? I wonder. Do I know someone who works there? Are they still sending me presents to make up for discontinuing Blogger Pro?

"Thank you for applying to Google's summer engineering intern program. We received over 2000 applications for about 75 positions, and unfortunately we were unable to accept several excellent candidates such as yourself. Thank you for your interest in Google and please keep us in mind for future intern and full-time employment opportunities.

Please accept this gift of appreciation for considering Google, and have a great summer!

What a bunch of tards. I didn't get anything when I applied for their senior marketing writer position. Just not young and nubile enough, I guess.

Wow, that's awesome! I wish i would have applied... even for that position at the moon base ;)

Places that give presents for applying? I may have to try that. I could use a new water bottle. Unless they only give presents to people who would have actually qualified for the internship. In which case, it would probably be a waste of time.

OMG, I am so in love with Nalgene bottles! I have three, and that style is my absolute favorite, and I don't have one in that color yet! If you, for some messed up reason, don't want it, mememememe! I'll take it ::squeals::

I've never had a nalgene bottle. :(

gravatar alfie - May 11, 2004 - 2:59 PM -

Neither have I. I already asked for it if she didn't want it. She does.

She suXX0rs!

You should go out and get yourself a nalgene bottle, esp. you missy (alfie)! because I know where you can get them cheap and you have a selection. Yes, at Biovouac. No, I can't be pressed to actually say that word, but I bought my last two nalgenes there and they have a shitton of them, so get one, NOW! And you too Katie, find one, NOW!

You are SO going to be the cool girl walking around town with your Google bottle. I don't think it can get any more hip than that.

Biovac is so expensive! I miss the days of EMS... Oh, how much fun I had there! And the 50% off *everything* sale they had when they went out of business was the stuff of dreams....

gravatar cari - May 11, 2004 - 5:45 PM -

That's awesome...why didn't I apply there? Im so jealous!

gravatar Erica - May 12, 2004 - 2:42 AM -

That is so cool. I think I still like my Blogger sweatshirt better, though.

gravatar katie - May 12, 2004 - 11:11 AM -

Where exactly does one 'obtain' a nalgene bottle? I will look spiffy if I take one to camp!

gravatar srah - May 12, 2004 - 11:18 AM -
