Mystery... uh, solved?

The Neil has been identified. Or something. I think. I am somewhat confused. Whether or not the culprit was, in fact, the ever-amused, evasive young Matthew, I have declared that it was the ever-amused, evasive young Matthew so as to avoid losing my mind. So there you are.

But I really don't think it is.... what about that woman who talked to you in class?

It has to be someone who knows me well enough to choose the name "neil diamond".

I know you well enough * to know that you can never sit still, and so you cross and raise and twist your legs constantly whenever you sit (which i find no problem with).

* which isn't that well, I admit -- i tour around alot doing my concerts, so i don't get to know people too well. Fortunately my 2001-02 tour is done, so i can relax a bit more.

Well then, mystery solved. It is indeed young Matthew.

Why do I keep calling you young Matthew? I think you're older than me. Well anyway, welcome to the blog, O Impersonator of Neils.

Ah, you've discovered me -- I didn't think this would generate as much humorous confusion as it did, but glad i finally found something to 'blah blah' about. I've been a frequent visitor for a while, tho, alas, a silent one up till now.

-- and yeah, where did the "young Matthew" come from, young one? :-)

gravatar srah - October 23, 2003 - 7:06 AM -

Dunno. It just sounded good.

This is all quite strange for me, as my first college boyfriend's name was Neil. Odd odd odd. And I think I've solved my identity crisis.

AH! I can't get my comments right any more! Heeeeeeelp meeeeeee!

gravatar alfie - October 23, 2003 - 11:15 AM -

so where are you in that picture?

gravatar srah - October 23, 2003 - 11:29 AM -

I was going to say "I'm the one in the foreground" but I realized that's not what you meant. Mr B------'s basement.

gravatar richard - October 23, 2003 - 11:35 AM -

how young are you there?

gravatar katie - October 23, 2003 - 11:56 AM -

Hehe. Srah, I had exactly the same mental reaction as you.

gravatar Mr. B-------- - October 23, 2003 - 12:32 PM -

About one day younger, at this point... although that one day seems like a lifetime ago. Stupid Thursdays!

What happened to all the regular blogging? Neil Diamond wants to know how his fans are doing... do you want to let him down? :-)

gravatar srah - October 23, 2003 - 11:15 PM -

Mr Diamond's fan has too much homework and her head feels like someone drove a truck through it. If you would like to do her homework, she will have time to blog.

*bats eyelashes*

So, you're the only Neil Diamond fan?

gravatar Jez - October 24, 2003 - 8:13 AM -

Thanks for the CD! Will be in contact and blogging soon, I hope. Having a bit of trouble with the DSL installation. It's cold in England.
