I am so thankful for that "lay vs. lie" article. That one has stumped me for years.

But who, ah say who can tell me the plural of 'series' so that I don't actually have to look it up myself???

You truly are as big of a language dork as I am! You rule! I've felt so alone all this time...little did I know that there were others (or AN other) out there like me. I, too, have marked the FAQ page in my favorites, and I, too, have been once again blissfully reminded of what the "lay"/"lie" issue truly is. But who the hell would say "She lay on the chaise all day"?
